50th anniversary 16th and 17th September: ceremony and open day.
On Friday, 16th September, a ceremony was held for employees and invited guests. On Saturday, September 17th, was the open day for families and interested citizens. There were guided factory tours, games, fun and surprises for the children as well as a refreshment bar with coffee and cake. In a raffle ten-year-old Marvin Bengler won the first Price - a hot air balloon ride. The proceeds from this event were donated to local Gerd Rudolph for his organization "Help a Child" in Haiti.
